American Election 2012 Tit-bits:

Honor Rolls:
May God bless all Americans-- blacks, whites, Latinos, Asians and others, who voted for the re-election of President Barack Obama on November 6, 2012. And much thanks to all the individuals who used their clouts, celebrity influences, radio/tv shows and other resources to tirelessly campaign for the president’s victory. Among them were the former President Bill Clinton (he was the first person to be called with gratitude by President Obama), Maya Angelou, Bruce Springsteen, Bill Cosby, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Oprah Winfrey, J-Z, Steve Harvey, Tom Joyner, Michael Baisden and others too numerous to mention here.
Faulty Math:
There was a news report about a poll conducted after the victory of President Obama. According to the poll, 53% of Americans were angry that Obama won. Now, if President Obama won almost all the battle ground states and won by popular votes, how could his “haters” in some crazy poll amount to 53%? In Pennsylvania alone, those who voted for Obama this year were over one million more than those who voted for him in the same state in 2008 election. So, what manner of Math was used in the so-called poll? That was why I never took those silly polls seriously during the election campaigns.
And My Sympathy Goes to:
Linda E. McMahon who was the Republican candidate for United States Senate in Connecticut. In spite of spending nearly $100 million of her own money on this race, to fill the seat of Senator Joseph I. Lieberman, an independent who is retiring, she was defeated by Representative Christopher S. Murphy, a Democrat, on November 6, 2012. What a pity…all that money gone down the drain!
