India
has become the first Asian nation to embark on a space journey to Mars.
At
the cost of $72 Million, this has been tagged as the cheapest space program
ever embarked upon by any nation.
This
is great…isn’t it?
Well…except
that this is a country where lots of poor people fight over tiny spaces on
major streets every night just for opportunities to lay their mats and sleep.
Whenever a vehicle approaches, those on its path will hurl insults on the
driver even as they scramble away temporarily from the road.
As soon as the
vehicle drives past, the poor folks will begin fresh battles for the spaces on
the road. Worse, India has the highest child mortality rate in the whole, wide
world!
