The
term, “bourgie bourgie” is derogatory. It’s used to describe people who are pretentious
in matters of money and taste.
Now,
the Christmas season is here. As usual, it’s the time when too many individuals
want to be “bourgie bourgie” by incurring unnecessary debts on gifts.
And
by the end of the season, they are “dead” broke!
Suddenly,
the spendthrifts will begin to cry, whine and irritate the people around them.
Spouses, partners, kids, friends, colleagues and everyone else will suddenly become
scapegoats, to be blamed for their financial irresponsibility.
