A
dog constantly barks at the moon,
but
the moon is too far away
to
pay it a mind.
And
the moon is shining so brightly that it
doesn’t
care a hoot about
the
barking dog.
Eventually
though,
just like envious,
miserable humans,
the
dog decides to sit down quietly
and
secretly admire the moon.
