The Nigeria-Biafra Political Debacle.

I watched the video of an interview the "Saharareporters" had with Nnamdi Kanu, the man behind the agitation for a Republic of Biafra. Initially, the interview evoked some sort of a "deja vu" feeling until someone pointed out this guy's background. He is a British-Nigerian that also lays claim to being a Jew. Besides, he was neither born nor a witness to the carnage of the 1967-70 Nigerian civil war.

The man has not proved that he is smarter than the Oxford-educated Ojukwu that led the first failed uprising. He has not got a bona fide reason like the pogrom that prompted Ojukwu into action. The big Eastern Region that Ojukwu depended upon is no longer in existence. The East, as it is, does not even have a sea by which essential military logistics can be brought in.

This guy does not have the Oil resource that Ojukwu used as a leverage to gather some international support from France and a few African countries.

Worst of all, Ojukwu was a military officer and had an army with several British Sandhurst-trained officers. This man probably does not know the difference between a hand gun and an artillery gun. He has no army! And, in spite of all those inadequacies, he says the words, "peaceful means" are not in his war-mongering dictionary. Rather, he is threatening to turn Nigeria into another "Somalia"!
