Today is Sunday the 27th day in the month of May, 2012.
This is the beginning of another week. It all seems like yesterday that we welcomed the year 2012 and now we are almost in the middle of the year. To many, this is a time to dread because the year appears to be moving too fast for them. To some few others however, it's been so far, so good.
As an adage says, "It's not how long, but how well." Specifically therefore, it's not how long gone we have been in the year 2012 but how well we, as individuals, have utilized our days in the year so far in accomplishing our resolutions. If only we all attach as much importance to making New Year resolutions as we do in achieving the various tasks we have set for ourselves at the beginning of the year, things would have been better for us. The usual thing though is that almost everyone makes a big deal about making some annual resolutions while we rarely, if ever, stop along the way to take stocks of each of the resolutions we have made.
As for me, I have been taking stocks of all my resolutions and so far, I can very easily and confidently point to my accomplishments in regard to each of my resolutions. But can you? If yes, congratulations. But if no, you need to go back to the drawing board to take a look at all the resolutions you made at the beginning of the year, 2012. It's never too late at this stage of the year, to make amends where necessary.
