The best way to grow up with the littlest amount of pains is to learn from the experiences of those who have “been there, done that" in life. Being ahead of you, some of them have once fallen into “pits” of ignorance, wrong choices and despairs. Learning from their experiences will save you from falling into the same "pits".

If only the young people of today took time to learn from the examples of those ahead of them, things would have been much better for them.

Ah, don't say this to the young people out there. How could you ever expect them to learn from those ahead of them when they always think they know it all?
This is truly inspirational even though many of us young folks think we know it all.
