A Special Plea to Hackers.

Why is this blog threatened as a major target of hackers? For motives or reasons best known to them, hackers have been making strenuous, continuous attempts at breaking into this blog. Just yesterday alone, 780 (seven hundred and eighty) attempts were made to hack into this blog. Why???

Blog_hackers

This is a small-scale blog that stands as a humble pedestal for the conveyance of opinions that are personal to me. The blog is relatively new on the cyberspace and it’s influence and reach are not enough to warrant the interest of any serious hacker worth his/her “salt”.

I am therefore using this medium to plead with all the concerned hackers to please leave this blog alone. Let it be!

No Man is Ugly Except by Choice!

Are you a young man who feels ugly because some women say so? It’s time you had a rethink because no man is ugly except by choice. In fact, it’s far easier for a man to look handsome than for a woman to look pretty. And how do you do this?

  1. Get a good education. It’s the ticket to a good job, a car and a home.

  2. Speak and write good grammatical expressions.

  3. Identify & explore your natural talents such as sports, music or acting.

  4. Dress properly. Even thugs wear suits when they appear in courts.

  5. Be very hard-working. And no tardiness!

  6. Finally, be patient! Get-rich-quick plans only leads to jail or death.

With the adoption of the above sense of values, you will sooner or later reap the fruits of your labor. And before you know it, many women will begin to find you attractive. If you are in doubt, go ask the following guys who were once called ugly:

  1. Elon Musk: Co-founder of PayPal, (Dated beautiful women like Cameron Diaz).

  2. Jay Z: Rapper (Married to Beyonce and other women run after him).

  3. Kevin Hart: Commedian (Once married a pretty woman and others are after him).

  4. Danny Devito Actor (Married to pretty Rhea Perlman).

Old People and the Get-Rich-Quick Syndrome.

What is it with all those old people
who are displaying too much desperation for money?
Each time I walk into a grocery store lately,
I often notice a lot of old people buying lottery tickets.
Just this morning alone,
I saw them all on a line opposite the lottery machine.
One old woman bought
a whopping $170 worth of lottery tickets!
And I thought...
with that tidy sum of money,
she could have done something better for herself.
Besides that...
I wonder why anyone would be so desperate
to get-rich-quick at that age anyway?

Where are the Real Men?

Gone are those days when most men saw the acquisition of education, the subsequent culture of hard work and a strong self-determination as the path to success. With this value-based foundation, laudable careers, solid enterprises and other great accomplishments were solidly established. They did take years to take shape in the societal consciousness. But the invested time and efforts paid off as manifested today in form of colleges, financial institutions, media houses and other establishments built by the baby-boomers and those before them.

Young men of nowadays however, are “a different ball game”. All around me—in neighborhoods, cities and States are too many young men turning their backs on education. In their bids to get rich quick, these young fellows are “putting the carts before their horses”. They drop out of schools with impunity. And by schools, we are talking about mere 7th or 8th grade. Forget a high school diploma…and don’t even think of a college education. But where have all the values gone?

Ask about individual ambitions and all you’ll hear is the desire of these youngsters to sing, act in movies or be sports personalities. While these are not bad aspirations, the problem however lies in the terrible impression among these young men that a foundation in education is not a necessity. They don’t know that for every sports or show-biz personality, there are millions who merely dream or aspire to be one. And there is this salient question; if everyone had chosen to be in show-biz or sports arena, who then would be accountants, medical doctors, lawyers, engineers and teachers?

Ironically, while more and more young men are dropping out of schools, a large number of young women are graduating, not only from high schools but also from colleges. And as these women embark on various enviable careers, the men are either loitering at home or lurking around street corners on a wild goose chase.

Unfortunately, it’s from a pool of men, consisting largely of barely literate, lazy hustlers that highly educated, professional women are expected to date and even marry. This therefore explains the rationale behind the decisions of many women to remain single instead of getting stuck in mismatched relationships. They would more likely do this than having to contend with men of poor intellect, emotional imbalance and inferiority complex.

But under this circumstance, what fate awaits the future generations? What sort of a role model does a man expects to play in the lives of his kids when he can barely spell, read or hold his own in certain environments that call for intellectually-stimulating conversations?
