Jermaine Jackson Divorce: I Want HALF Our Michaels...Says Estranged Wife.

Jermaine Jackson's estranged wife is making a list -- and checking it twice, we're sure -- to make sure she gets half their stuff, and she's especially eyeing two fancy Michael Jackson paintings.



Halima Rashid's divorce docs include a list of assets the couple amassed during 11 years of marriage.

There's little stuff, like an Apple TV receiver and flower pots, and plenty of big ticket items too ... like the MJ portraits, entitled "Abstract" and "Sofa."

She doesn't include the current value of the paintings, but only because she hasn't had them appraised yet. As for vehicles -- she says their Ferrari and Jeep are worth about $133k, and she wants her cut.

Scottie Pippen Filed for Divorce After Concern Over Wife’s Relationship with Future.

Scottie Pippen filed for divorce from wife Larsa during the week, and now some details about what led to his decision have emerged. According to TMZ Sports, the former Chicago Bulls star was concerned about Larsa’s relationship with rapper Future. Larsa and Future apparently met in August and have been traveling and hanging out together ever since. Larsa having a casual relationship with Future also may be revenge for Scottie flirting with another woman last summer, per the report. 

The Pippens had agreed to a divorce weeks ago but backed off, though Scottie apparently changed his mind. 

There have been recent problems in the Pippen home, as police were called twice this month over arguments between the two.

As an interesting twist, Future has a sports tie as well, as his ex, Ciara, is married to Seahawks QB Russell Wilson and even threatened the quarterback.

Angelina Jolie Divorces Brad Pitt.

It’s been confirmed, amidst rumors, by a reliable source to CNN that Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt. There has been speculation that a tabloid-friendly, child-unfriendly custody battle may ensue over their six children. But a source close to them asserted that both sides want a cordial breakup.

“Other than the fame of the people involved, this is like so many other divorces,” the source said.

The divorce filing may tell a very different story.

Pitt and Jolie got married in 2014 but their relationship became the subject of speculation in 2004, when they co-starred in “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” At the time, Pitt was married to actress Jennifer Aniston.

According to TMZ, Jolie is seeking physical custody of the couple’s six children — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox. She is asking the judge to give Pitt visitation, not joint physical custody, which is interesting for a pair, who seemed on the same page when it came to parenting their homeschooled brood and have both said they were raising them as “citizens of the world.”

Tasha Smith: When Life Imitates Arts.

When the movie, "Why Did I Get Married?" by Tyler Perry came out, I was of the opinion that a lot of single women should learn from the lessons that were abundantly exhibited in the movie in the area of marriage. This is because too many women appear to be interested only in mundane issues when considering future husbands. It’s always irritating to me when I hear women give reasons why they are in love or marrying a man. The stupid reasons usually range from “Oh, the guy is so cute!” to “He is great in bed”, “The man is rich” and “He has a nice car”. The most annoying part of it is that the affected women are the educated types that are not expected to be so dumb.

And, of course, the dumbest in this group of women are the celebrities. I often wonder whether it’s the fame or money that gets in the way of their common sense. An example of this stupidity is that of Tasha Smith, star of Tyler Perry’s "Why Did I Get Married?" It’s a classic case of life imitating arts. The woman obviously learned nothing from the movie’s many lessons.

According to TMZ, the actress “will think twice about getting hitched again -- the now ex-husband she calls a glorified assistant just scored a fat settlement in their divorce.” The woman has been ordered by a court to “hand over nearly $7k/month in spousal support to Keith Douglas. That's on top of the $50k she already shelled out to him in December.” The million Dollar question now is what was the woman thinking when she met, courted and getting married to a guy she now suddenly consider to be a “glorified assistant”? If the man actually fits that description then, she must be a glorified, damned fool!

The Height of Moral Degradation in Gods’ Own Country.

“The Strawberry letter” segment on the Steve Harvey Morning Show is one of my favorites. Every morning, people write letters to the show, baring their souls on some very personal issues. Some listeners are of the view that the letters are fictitious. But the presenters and, especially Shirley Strawberry, have often stated that the letters are real. And I believe them.

Today’s strawberry letter was a two-handed, heart-wrenching type. A man ( the letter-writer) wrote to say that he loved his wife (to whom he has been married since ten years ago) but that at the moment, he was at what I would describe as an emotional cross-road.

On the one hand, he started an affair with a sibling of his wife about three years ago. The sibling in question however was the twin brother of his wife. Now, the lover is threatening to inform his sister about the affair unless the letter-writer divorced her. Here was a guy desperate enough to break his sister’s marriage just so that he and the letter-writer could continue their gay relationship without hindrance.

On the other hand, the letter-writer wanted to justify the affair with his brother in-law by disclosing that his wife had cheated on him shortly after they got married. And guess who she cheated with? It was the letter-writer’s father. In fact, the woman got pregnant and had a baby boy for the older guy. The little boy is now being raised by the letter-writer. In view of this cheating issue therefore, the letter-writer believed that he had the moral right to comply with his gay lover’s demand.

Tommy Nephew’s response to the bundle of absurdities was the best in my view. At a future family re-union, Tommy gave hints about the way principal characters in that letter would be introduced?  To start with, the man’s wife would simultaneously be seen as his wife and as a step mother. The man’s gay lover would be introduced as his brother in-law and as his “significant other”. And the letter-writer’s hapless son could also double up as his brother. What a spectacle that family re-union would exhibit?

And I thought I had seen and heard everything about moral degradation in God’s own country. But that strawberry letter on the Steve Harvey Morning Show has since convinced me that I “ain't seen nothing yet"

Like Kutcher, like Cannon: The Marriage Games in Hollywood.

In the entertainment industry, ageing female celebrities have a way of dumping themselves on available young men as soon as they realize that old age is creeping on them. It’s often a case of a much younger man being used to brighten up the fading glory of an older woman. Such was the life story of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore in the aftermath of the latter’s divorce from actor Bruce Willis.

And so it was with Nick Cannon whose youthfulness “helped” boost up the public image of a much older Mariah Carey.



Lest we forget, Mariah Carey (in her younger, glorious days) got married to record executive Tommy Mottola who was about 20 years older than her. The man had earlier dumped his erstwhile wife for Mariah Carey. And as soon as her singing career hits the peak, the woman promptly dumped Mottola. But whatever goes around always comes around.



As Ashton Kutcher’s movie career got a major boost with his marriage to the older Demi Moore, so also did Nick Cannon’s career in the entertainment industry galloped upon his marriage to the older Mariah Carey. And like Kutcher who eventually dumped Moore, Cannon has also decided to crawl his way out of the marriage to Carey.

In a recent media interview, Nick Cannon tried to further shore up his image by declaring that the break-up with Mariah Carey was something initiated by him. The young man went on to state that he was ending the marriage because of Mariah's emotional state.

Marriages among celebrities have always been very low on love but very high in the uplifting of careers, egos, money and other mundane stuff. This factor alone has contributed enormously to the lowest ebb in which the sacred institution of marriage has been kicked in the entertainment industry.

 

Who Gave Birth to Blue Ivy, Beyonce or Tina Seals?

On top of everything in the lives of both Beyonce and Jay Z and, most especially, the divorce rumors swirling around them, there is now something else. It is a rumor brewing with a very strong aroma around the alleged surrogate mother of Blue Ivy. So, Beyonce did not actually give birth to Blue Ivy?



A woman, Tina Seals, has filed a suit in a Manhattan court claiming that she was, in fact, the birth mother of Beyonce’s daughter. And she wants custody of the “golden child”, Blue Ivy.

According to some legal experts, there was no way Beyonce and Jay Z could lose the rights to their daughter. But this factor would depend on their alleged relationship with Tina Seals, if any such relationship existed at all.

In the state of New York, it is illegal to pay anyone to act as a surrogate. But unpaid surrogacy is not illegal. Therefore, if indeed Tina Seals did act as a paid surrogate to the power couple, she might have a legitimate case.



Incidentally, two factors are not helping Beyonce in this matter. Firstly, she is very well known to be overtly narcissistic by her grandiose and excessive interest in her physical appearance. Women in her shoes, more so, those who are celebrities usually don’t have a room for any pregnancy or motherhood in their lives. To such women, a baby tends to create some form of unwelcome rivalry.

Secondly, Beyonce did not help her case against a claim of bogus pregnancy when sometimes in 2011, TMZ revealed to the whole world how Beyonce’s purported pregnancy “collapsed” while trying to sit down on a chair (See pictures below). This made many people across the world to believe that she was wearing a prosthetic.



Maybe it’s high time the power couple came out publicly to clear the air by making their positions known on all these wild rumors flying around them. Keeping mom and pretending all are well will never help their images as celebrities of note.

Akon on Beyonce and Jay Z's Marriage.

American R&B and hip hop recording artist, Akon, has lent his voice to the raging rumors of divorce between Beyonce and Jay  Z. While the rumors takes turns and curves all over the internet and the news media, Beyoncé and Jay Z continue to carry on as if all is well. But the more the power couple puts up a public façade, the more the people out there are skeptical about their union. In the meantime, some fellow celebrities have been making their opinions known privately or publicly. One such celebrity is Akon who, in a recent interview with TMZ, observed that the so-called marriage or relationship between Beyonce and Jay Z was all about money than good old-fashioned love. Hear him:

"Their relationship has been more of a business to the outside world than an actual relationship," the "Smack That" singer said to TMZ.



Akon went further to state that "If you become a public figure and you have a relationship, your relationship also becomes public…So if you don't open up to the public, they will naturally speculate."

And that is so right! As far as Beyoncé and Jay Z's relationship is concerned, Akon's theory certainly rings true. In 2014 alone, rumors about infidelity and divorce have run rampant about Bey Z, as the two refuse to address any of the gossips head on. Though the couple is currently on tour together, the media is convinced they are heading for “splitsville”.



In fact, Beyoncé did not help matters when just last month, she changed the lyrics to a song about infidelity while on the stage, and she seemed to direct the ditty at her husband. At the same time, the same Beyonce is all over town posting “We are a happy family” pictures on Instagram, which include Jay and their daughter, Blue Ivy. Unknown to her, the woman was unwittingly adding fuel to the fire by all these fake “P.R.” which, if anything at all, are only adding to the confusions about the status of their marriage.

The important thing for both Beyonce and Jay Z to do now is to publicly make bold the actual relationship between them. Are they married for love or are the two merely a corporate couple doing all these “happy-go-lucky” stuff for money?

Beyonce, Jay Z And Rumors of Divorce.

In the aftermath of the elevator fight between Jay Z and Solange Knowles, divorce rumors have been flying all around Beyonce and Jay Z, with new reports blaming Jay Z’s infidelity for the situation. 

These are all rumors but "there is no smoke without a fire". Indeed, the rumors extend to the fact that the rapper’s infidelity (at one time) included affairs with Rita Ora and Rihanna.

Now, the latest act of infidelity has been rumored to revolve around Rachel Roy (pictured above). She was accused of sparking the elevator fiasco between Solange Knowles and Jay Z. Reports say that Solange grew angry at Jay Z’s “extremely close” relationship with Rachel Roy, leading Solange to later attack Jay Z in defense of her sister. The rapper was said to have said something “inappropriate” to Beyoncé and Solange, and the latter snapped.
